Product Overview & Application
The MPM Wood Plus 10 wood gasification boiler is a water-fed log wood boiler with manual loading for integration into central heating systems. It is suitable for buildings and applications where a wood heating system with a nominal output of 10 kW is technically appropriate for the heating load and the planned system configuration.
As a wood gasification boiler, the unit operates with separate zones for fuel degassing and combustion of the resulting wood gases. This design makes the boiler suitable for operation with appropriate, dry log wood and is integrated into a heating system with a buffer tank.
Technology & Equipment
The MPM Wood Plus 10 is constructed as a welded steel boiler and features a ceramic combustion chamber, a metal-ceramic burner, a movable cast iron grate, and vertically arranged flue gas channels with a turbulence device. The primary and secondary air can be regulated, adapting the combustion process for operation with log wood.
For practical operation, the boiler has a side loading door, a firing and ash door, as well as cleaning openings for maintaining the combustion channels. Additionally, a smoke extraction channel for the loading chamber is provided to reduce smoke emission when refueling.
Everyday Advantages
The boiler's design supports structured log wood operation with clearly separated fuel, combustion, and cleaning areas. The large loading chamber, movable cast iron grate, and accessible cleaning areas facilitate regular operation and daily maintenance.
With operation via a mechanical draft regulator and natural draft, the boiler has a simple design and is geared towards robust operation. System monitoring, fuel quality, and professional system integration remain crucial for safe and clean operation.
System Integration & Compatibility
The MPM Wood Plus 10 is integrated into a water-based heating system and should be operated with a buffer tank. Depending on the system design, integration can occur in open or closed heating systems, provided the required safety components, fittings, and operating conditions are met.
For system operation, appropriate heat dissipation, suitable chimney draft, return temperature boosting to maintain the minimum return temperature, and professional sizing of the buffer tank are particularly relevant. The selection of boiler output should be based on the building's heating load.

Installation
Installation and integration of the wood gasification boiler should be carried out by qualified professionals. For operation, a suitable installation room, appropriate chimney draft, hydraulic integration into the heating system, and the required safety fittings must be considered.
During system planning, the return temperature, buffer tank connection, and heat dissipation must be carefully coordinated. In closed systems, the necessary safety devices and thermal protection measures must be provided according to the system design.
Notes
The boiler is intended for operation with suitable, dry log wood. Damp or unsuitable fuel can impair operation, promote deposits, and reduce the boiler's service life.
The choice of output does not replace a heating load calculation. For safe and efficient system operation, the building, heating system, buffer tank, chimney, and hot water preparation should be considered together.
