Product Overview & Application Range
The GEMA connection package for MDC modules is a coordinated connection and mounting set for the hydraulic integration of a GEMA MDC heating module into a suitable heating system. The package contains the fittings, connectors, mounting hardware, and a high-efficiency circulation pump required for a typical installation.
The connection package is suitable for all GEMA MDC modules. It is not intended as a standalone heat generator, but as system accessories for connecting, isolating, circulating, venting, filling, and pressure protection of the heating module connection.
Technology & Equipment
The package includes a WITA go.future WGF45625 high-efficiency pump with a 180 mm installation length. The pump supports the circulation of heating water in the heating module circuit and features electronic control options with constant curves, constant pressure curves, and proportional pressure curves.
The connection assembly includes, among other things, ball valves, a KFE drain valve, a check valve, an automatic air vent, a safety valve, as well as several malleable cast iron fittings and reducers. This allows the most important functional areas of the heating module connection to be set up in a structured pipe group.
Everyday Benefits
The connection package facilitates the professional integration of the MDC heating module because the essential connection components are already assembled as a package. Shut-off, filling, venting, and backflow prevention can thus be clearly integrated into the system section.
For maintenance and service, the included ball valves and the KFE drain valve are particularly practical, as system sections can be shut off, filled, or drained in a controlled manner. The automatic air vent also supports operation by reducing air accumulation in the system.
System Integration & Compatibility
The GEMA connection kit is intended for the hydraulic connection of GEMA MDC modules. The final integration must match the existing system hydraulics, the operating pressure, the pressure maintenance, the safety valve discharge line, and the electrical supply of the pump.
Installation, electrical connection, and commissioning should be carried out by qualified specialist personnel. The specific system design, the technical specifications of the connected components, and the nameplate of the supplied pump are decisive.

Installation
Installation takes place within a suitable water-bearing heating system. Before installation, check connection dimensions, pipe routing, mounting points, and hydraulic integration. The heating module and the connection group must be mounted without stress.
The circulation pump must be installed with the appropriate pump unions and seals. Pay attention to flow direction, installation position, accessibility, and electrical supply. The pump may only be put into operation after the system section has been filled and vented.
Notes
The connection package does not replace project-specific system planning. Operating pressure, expansion vessel, safety valve, blow-off line, pump setting, and electrical protective measures must be coordinated with the specific system.
After installation and initial heating, all threaded, pump, and valve connections should be checked for leaks. Changes to pump settings, shut-off positions, or system pressure should only be made after professional inspection.
