Efficient heat pump technology

The Vaillant aroSTOR hot water heat pump uses state-of-the-art heat pump technology to efficiently convert thermal energy stored in the air into hot water. This system operates completely independently of an existing heating system, allowing for versatile application in a variety of living situations.

Through the use of innovative technology, the aroSTOR not only ensures high hot water comfort, but also economical and environmentally friendly energy conversion, which also leads to low operating costs.

Two storage variants for individual needs

With storage tank sizes of 200 and 270 liters, the heat pump offers various options that can be ideally adapted to the hot water needs of single-family homes. This allows both new buildings and modernization projects to be optimally supplied.

This flexible storage selection enables the targeted use of the technology to adapt to different consumption profiles and structural conditions while always guaranteeing maximum comfort.

Flexible integration into existing heating systems

The aroSTOR can be easily integrated into existing heating systems, for example, in combination with gas or oil heating systems. Thanks to its simple installation, it's an excellent entry point into future-oriented heating technology, even in existing buildings.

This option allows the existing energy balance to be expanded with an environmentally friendly and cost-effective component without the need for complex conversion work.

Optimal use with photovoltaic systems

Owners of photovoltaic systems particularly benefit from the aroSTOR heat pump. Thanks to its low power consumption, the excess electricity from the photovoltaic system can be used to heat water almost year-round.

The heat pump's control system only switches it on when sufficient solar energy is available. This not only reduces the CO2 footprint but also sustainably lowers energy costs.

Reliable function even at low temperatures

As an air-to-water heat pump, the aroSTOR extracts energy from the ambient or outside air – even at temperatures as low as -7°C. This allows the natural heat source to be optimally utilized in both winter and summer operation.

Of particular note is that the cool exhaust air can be used for room cooling, for example, in building sections such as pantries. This versatile application enhances the comfort and utility of the entire system.
