Thanks to its eBUS interface, the eloBLOCK can also be integrated into existing heating systems.

A notice:

The weather-compensated controller VRC 700 or VRC 720 must be ordered separately if the eloBLOCK is used purely as a heating device.
When combining an eloBLOCK with a heat generator, a VR 32B module is required.

Installation instructions:

Depending on the power rating, devices with a 230V connection are supplied with a Schuko plug or a fixed connection (without a plug). In the case of a fixed connection, a specialist tradesman must be commissioned to install the device.

For devices with a connected load of 400V, a high-voltage connection (three-phase alternating current connection) is required. Installation may only be carried out by a registered specialist company, and approval from the relevant network operator must be obtained before initial installation.

For devices with a rated power of more than 12 kW, you will need approval from your grid operator. Please contact the grid operator or an installation company listed in the grid operator's installer directory for installation. This installation company will also assist you in obtaining the necessary approval from the respective grid operator.

Note on stationary electric individual room heaters:

In accordance with the EU Ecodesign Directive 2009/125/EC, Regulation 2015/1188 laying down ecodesign requirements for local space heaters was adopted. The installation and commissioning of electric local space heaters is only permitted in combination with an external room temperature control system that fulfills the following functions:

• Weekday regulations
• Window open detection and/or adaptive control of heating start.
