Product description

The OWR1 heating element with 2 kW output is a robust electric heating element for use in drinking and domestic water storage tanks, boilers and buffer tanks. It reaches its operating voltage at 230 V and is equipped with a standardized connection thread of 1 1/2" AG.

The compact installation length of 360 mm and the horizontal installation type make the heating cartridge particularly versatile. The external regulator enables convenient temperature control from around 20 °C to around 70 °C.

Installation and assembly

The standardized thread and horizontal installation length make installation quick and uncomplicated. Before installation, the device and memory should be de-energized and the installation opening cleaned.

The heating cartridge can be installed using conventional tools; professional sealing of the thread is important to avoid leaks. If you are unsure, we recommend installation by a qualified specialist.

Safety and operation

The integrated safety temperature limiter at 85 °C protects against overheating. The external controller allows the temperature to be adjusted in the range of ~20 °C to ~70 °C for normal operation.

Always disconnect the power supply before carrying out maintenance work. Make sure the electrical connection values are correct and the device is properly grounded.

Scope of delivery

The scope of delivery includes the heating element OWR1 and assembly and operating instructions. The heating cartridge is delivered with a Schuko plug, so no additional adapter is required.
