The OWR1 heating rod 3 kW is a high-quality electric heating rod for direct heating of drinking and domestic water storage tanks, boilers and buffer tanks. With an output of 3.0 kW and operation on 230 V, it offers reliable heat for small to medium-sized storage systems.

The compact design and the 1 1/2" connection thread enable easy integration into existing systems; the installation length of 360 mm is designed for many standard containers.

Controller adjustable externally from around 20 °C to around 70 °C; Safety temperature limiter at 85°C provides additional protection. Delivery includes Schuko plug for easy electrical connection.

Areas of application

Ideal for installation in drinking and service water tanks, hot water boilers and buffer tanks in private and commercial applications. The heating cartridge can be used as main heater or as additional heater.

Thanks to the standard connections and practical installation length, the OWR1 heating element fits into many common storage tanks and enables flexible use in different systems.

Assembly and handling

The heating cartridge is designed for horizontal installation and can be screwed securely into the tank via the 1 1/2" AG thread. The external controller allows convenient temperature adjustment without having to look inside the tank.

The electrical connection is made simply via the supplied Schuko plug; Before installation, the power supply must be switched off and assembly must be carried out according to the enclosed instructions. If you are unsure, an electrician should be consulted.

Security

The integrated safety temperature limiter (85 °C) protects against overheating and ensures safe operation together with the adjustable regulator. Nevertheless, the general safety regulations for electric heaters must be observed.

Before commissioning, the sealing surfaces and threads should be checked and the electrical fuse protection of the system should be checked. Regular visual inspections extend the service life of the device.

Scope of delivery

Included in delivery: heating element OWR1 3 kW as well as the assembly and operating instructions. The Schuko plug is already installed, so that quick commissioning is possible.
