FüllCombi BA 6628 – Automatic filling and refilling station for hot water central heating systems

Short description

The FüllCombi BA 6628 is a compact filling and refilling device that was specially developed for hot water central heating systems in accordance with DIN EN 12828. It allows a permanent connection to the drinking water pipe in accordance with DIN EN 1717 and replaces the previous hose connection.

Function and area of application

When filling, the integrated unit monitors the supply pressure; If this drops below the pressure of the heating system during the filling process, the built-in system separator BA (approved up to liquid category 4) prevents heating water from flowing back into the drinking water pipe. The FüllCombi is therefore ideal for residential buildings, commercial properties and smaller heat supplies where standard-compliant and safe filling processes are required.

Advantages

The combination of shut-off, pressure reducer, pressure gauge, BA system separator and waste water connection offers a completely standard-compliant solution in one device. A permanent connection to the drinking water installation is possible, even if the heating water contains inhibitors (corrosion and antifreeze agents). After completing the filling process, we recommend closing the barrier for safety reasons.

Installation and application

The FüllCombi must be installed horizontally with the funnel connection facing downwards. It is permanently connected to the drinking water pipe and replaces temporary hose solutions. The output pressure is set at the factory to 1.5 bar, but can be adjusted within the permissible range.

Security and Maintenance

The integrated system separator BA ensures reliable protection of the drinking water installation even in the event of backflow risks up to liquid category 4. The shut-off should be closed again after each filling process. Regular visual inspections and functional checks (manometer, leaks, waste water connection) extend the service life and ensure compliance with standards.
